APWA Membership – What Does It Mean For You?

Educational training is the best investment you can make in yourself and

value to your employer. APWA offers a variety of unique educational programs
and self-study materials covering the many aspects of public works. You can
choose programs by topic or by your preferred educational medium. APWA's
educational opportunities include 2-4 day instructor-led workshops, audio-web
conferences (called Click, Listen, and Learn virtual workshops), as well as a
selection of text-based courses that are intended for purchase by a chapter or
organization wishing to teach a particular topic of interest. Training is
available on everything from fleet management to construction inspection and
basic supervision programs. In addition, most APWA-sponsored programs provide
the opportunity to earn your Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a record of
your personal CEU history is maintained in the APWA database.
