Johnson County, IA

Greg S. Parker, PE has been the Johnson County Engineer in Iowa City, Iowa for the past 6 years. . He has worked in the Civil Engineering environment for his entire career in capacities such as Streets Director of Cedar Rapids, as Assistant County Engineer in both Linn and Story Counties and as a Civil Engineer for Williams & Company & Snyder & Associates.

He is a past board member and president of the Iowa APWA Chapter and is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and The National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) where he is on the national Snow and Ice Pooled Fund Cooperative Program (SICOP) committee.

Public Works Superintendent
Township of Dawn-Euphemia, Ontario

Paul Dalton has a reputation for having the best gravel roads in the province.

The public works superintendent for Dawn-Euphemia, Paul has spent almost thirty years building and maintaining the township’s roads with his own special blend of aggregate (known as the “Dawn Blend”) and his own hand-built equipment.

“I have been accused of treating the township roads as my own,” he says. “They are right. I do.”

Paul served on the board of, and was the president of, The Association of Ontario Road Supervisors in 2004 and 2005.
