John Habermann, P.E.
John Habermann is currently Program Manager for the Indiana LTAP in West Lafayette, IN. He assists with technology transfer in the form of technical manuals, short courses, and seminars. Mr. Habermann received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Purdue University in 1994 where he specialized in Transportation Engineering and Bituminous Materials. After 4 ½ years in the consulting industry, John returned to Purdue University and the Civil Engineering Department in 1999 as the Research Engineer for the Indiana LTAP Center. In 2007, John became Program Manger for the LTAP Center. John is a Registered Professional Engineer with the State of Indiana.

Richard Cabrera, P.E.
President R. E. Cabrera & Associates Plantation, FL
Richard Cabrera is an engineer in private practice based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and a MBA from Florida Atlantic University. In addition to having over 30 years of professional experience, he is a professional engineer registered in the State of Florida since 1983. While the majority of Cabrera's background has been in civil/roadway design, at different times in his career he has held positions as resident engineer for major civil/infrastructure construction projects as well as Maintenance Engineer for the Florida Department of Transportation, where he also served as a consultant project manager. Cabrera has been involved with MOT issues since the late 1980s and currently provides training in association with the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA).

Cathy Satterfield, P.E.
Cathy Satterfield is a Safety Specialist on the Roadway Departure Team for the FHWA Office of Safety Design. Cathy joined the Roadway Departure Team in November, 2007. Her primary goal is to reduce fatalities resulting from roadway departures throughout the country and specifically in the 17 Roadway Departure Focus States. Cathy has been with Federal Highway Administration for 18 years, with a focus in safety since 1995, and has experience with other collateral duties in a variety of technical fields. Prior to joining headquarters, Cathy served in the West Virginia Division, Central Federal Lands, the Resource Center, and the Idaho Division.
