Description: Like the military’s Delta Forces, public works leaders must be well-trained, flexible, and versatile! Aging infrastructure, economic uncertainty, new technologies, labor shortages, changing public expectations – challenges that face public agencies now – and which are not going away anytime soon. Who are the public works leaders that will step forward and guide us through these times? Where will we find them? How can we help prepare them?

Sign-up now for this program featuring two of the public works profession’s best experts on leadership and workforce development. You’ll learn strategies for:

• Identifying and promoting the leadership potential that exists among current staff
• Attracting creative people by being creative in your recruiting
• Developing a succession plan to fill the leadership gaps created by retirements
• Making your public works agency the “employer of choice” for all generations

This program has been approved for .2 CEUs or 2 PDHs. The form to request these credits is included in the handouts for this program.
