Description: Is your agency NIMS compliant? Are you ready to respond to a disaster?

Find out what training is required for you and your agency to be considered NIMS compliant, and why you need to take advantage of emergency management training opportunities and exercises no matter the size of your agency.

You will also hear a case study from an agency with a pro-active emergency management plan, and how they had to put their plan to action during Hurricane Katrina. Find out how being prepared gave them an upper hand in managing and recovering from the disaster, and what strengths and weaknesses were discovered.

This program has been approved for .2 CEUs or 2 PDHs. The form to request these credits is included in the handouts for this program.
