Speaker:	Don Cannon Director of Public Works Township of Lower Merion, PA Don Cannon joined the Lower Merion Township, PA management team in 1991, after serving as Director of Public Works in Abington and Plymouth Townships, Pa. He is responsible for overseeing the many functions of the Public Works Department. Services such as road maintenance, refuse/recycling collection and processing, installation and maintenance of sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems and development and oversight of the Township�s Capital Improvement Program are just a few of the services that fall under Mr. Cannon�s purview. The Shade Tree Division of Public Works particularly relates to his expertise, because Don�s Bachelors of Science degree from Penn State University is in Forest Science. He has also completed various professional courses offered by Temple, Villanova, Penn State and the American Public Works Association (APWA) and has served as past president of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the APWA.
Speaker:	Don Cafaro Don Cafaro is the City Arborist for the City of Mountain Brook, Alabama. Don has been working in Forestry for five years. Some of his responsibilities include; tree hazard assessment, tree inventory, planting and maintaining trees, and supervision of outsourced tree work. Mr. Cafaro is on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Urban Forestry Association, and a member of the International Society of Arboriculture (Southern Chapter) and the Society of Municipal Arborists. Don has his B.S. in Forestry from Auburn University and is an ISA Certified Arborist/Municipal Specialist.
Speaker:	Gordon Mann Public Works Superintendent City of Redwood City, CA Gordon Mann has been the Public Works Superintendent for the City of Redwood City for 13 years, and has been with the City for 22 years. His previous role was the Arborist overseeing the City�s sidewalk repair program where he made the local newspapers as the rollerblading arborist in Redwood City. As Superintendent, he oversees the streets, sidewalks, paint and sign, street lights, traffic signals, parking meters and tree programs. Redwood City has been a Tree City USA for 25 years.
