Dave Bergner
Dave Bergner is Superintendent of the Overland Park, Kansas, Public Works Department Maintenance Division. He is responsible for a staff of 65 involved in field operations including street, storm water, traffic and fleet maintenance. He has been with Overland Park for 17 years; prior to that he was with the City of Kansas City, Missouri for nearly 15 years, mainly in Traffic Operations. Dave was the moderator of a panel that made a presentation, also titled “SOS For Sidewalks”, on Overland Park’s sidewalk program at the 2006 APWA National Congress. He has a Master’s degree in Management from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri- Kansas City.

Municipal GIS/Applications Project Manager OMNNI Associates Appleton, WI Jason Weis is a Municipal Project Manager for OMNNI Associates, Inc. in Appleton, Wisconsin. He specializes in developing database and GIS applications for municipalities, with an emphasis on mobile GIS applications for asset management and inspections. He has developed mobile GIS solutions for sidewalk inspections, ADA curb ramp inventories, erosion control inspections, street sign inventories, tree inventories, wetland delineations and other field applications. In addition, he manages the sidewalk inspection and reconstruction services for a local municipality.
