The program will include checklists for preparedness for both your equipment and the plow operators, tasks to do now that will pay dividends later, and many other tips on alternate vehicle usage that can stretch your budget dollar.

Maintenance Manager, City of Minneapolis

Bill Gauthier is the Maintenance Manager, Equipment Services Division, Public Works, City of Minneapolis. Mr. Gauthier has worked in the Public Sector for 20 years and has been the maintenance manager for the last 10 years. He is responsible for the activities of the fleet and equipment maintenance shops. These responsibilities include cost efficient maintenance and repairs to Police, Fire fleets and other emergency response units such as snow and ice control equipment in winter, the Parts Distribution Center, fueling operations and environmental compliance.

Ohio Department of Transportation

Diana Clonch has over 24 years of public service and is currently employed with the Ohio Department of Transportation as the Snow and Ice Coordinator within the Office of Maintenance. She has been a long standing member of the American Public Works Association) and a former member of the APWA Winter Maintenance Subcommittee. Diana is currently serving as the ODOT representative to Clear Roads and Aurora, national winter maintenance committees. She was formerly the Operations Manager for the City of Columbus, OH, overseeing all street maintenance and street cleaning operations, as well as the Maintenance Superintendent for the Franklin County Engineers office in Columbus, Ohio

Doug Burke graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation for 16 years, with the last 12 years in the Office of Equipment Management as a Transportation Engineer. Doug's responsibilities include the writing and administration of the equipment contracts and specifications, training mechanics and operators in snow & ice equipment operation and maintenance, and the procurement and assembly of dump trucks and snow & ice equipment through the Ohio Prison Industries at Chillicothe, Ohio.
