Senior Associate, DRMP

Mr. Kern has over 14 years of experience in the areas of Comprehensive Planning, Transportation Planning, and Land Use Analysis. Mr. Kern’s experience includes preparation of Comprehensive Plan elements and associated data analyses, land development regulations, multi-modal transportation studies, and impact fee studies. He has served as the City Planner for a municipality in Central Florida as well as a County Transportation Planner. Mr. Kern supports numerous municipal and county clients with various land planning and transportation planning services.
Speaker: Sue Hann

Sue Hann is currently the Deputy City Manager for the City of Palm Bay, Florida. She has extensive experience in local government public works and engineering as well as experience in private sector civil engineering consulting. Sue has served as a member of the ASCE Task Committee on the development of the recently published update of Manual 45 “A Guide for the Engagement of Engineering Services.” She is a licensed engineer in the State of Florida as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

As President of Royce Arbour, Inc, Diana Royce Smith consults with organizations, handling a wide variety of trouble-shooting and problem-solving assignments. Royce Arbour, Inc. is located in Boulder, CO and is a management consulting firm specializing in strategic planning and management, targeted performance management, human resource management, public/private partnerships, and interpersonal communication. A sought-after public speaker and trainer, Ms. Smith previously served as principal consultant in business development and tribal government at the Council of Energy Resource Tribes, managed customer service and governmental relations for the Regional Transportation District (RTD), and headed employment functions for the City of Albuquerque. She has taught in the College of Engineering and the Division of Public Administration at the University of New Mexico.
