John Campbell, E.I.T.
Traffic Specialist, Ayres Associates Inc., Waukesha, Wisconsin
As a traffic specialist for Ayres Associates Inc., Mr. Campbell’s primary responsibilities involve assisting in traffic engineering and roadway design tasks. More specifically, he analyzes crashes, designs/optimizes signal systems, and models traffic. He focuses on the safe and efficient movement of traffic and is aware of the latest techniques for designing pedestrian, bicycle, and railway crossings.
Mr. Campbell’s education background includes an emphasis in transportation engineering, crash analysis, and the identification and prioritization of hazardous locations. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI.

Training and Research Manager, Idaho Local Technical Assistance Program, University of Idaho
Bruce Drewes has been providing educational programs to the local agencies around Idaho, through the University of Idaho’s Local Technical Assistance Program for the past six years. He has delivered educational programs on Road Safety Audits for Local Governments, Road Safety Fundamentals, Retro reflectivity for Signs, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Pavement Maintenance, Work Zone Traffic Control, and more. Prior to coming to the Idaho LTAP, Bruce worked with the Idaho Transportation Department in Maintenance and Construction for 18 years.
