Mr. Maciel has over 31 years of construction experience, including civil and structural work for public and private clients. He has served as project director and senior project manager from the contractor’s perspective and the agency and owner’s perspectives and has managed programs and projects from conception through public agency approval and design, to construction and into operation and maintenance.

Maciel is certified in construction quality management by the Corps of Engineers, as a Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute and as a Certified Construction Manager through the Construction Management Association of America. He is also a member of the US Green Building Council. He has over 23 years of scheduling and estimating experience and has excellent leadership and communication skills.

Maciel also provides training through the American Public Works Association (APWA), the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), the University of California Project Management Institute (UCPMI), and teaches seminars at the Graduate level at UC Berkeley and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is responsible for in-house training programs on scheduling for Harris and many of our clients.

Maciel serves as the Northern Regional manager and oversees five sub-regional offices in northern California which include offices in Tracy, Fresno, Gilroy, Sacramento and Concord.
