Thomas F. Vandenburg is a partner in the law firm of Dongell Lawrence Finney LLP in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Vandenburg received his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1992. Mr. Vandenburg’s legal practice focuses on environmental, toxic tort and construction litigation. In his career Mr. Vandenburg has handled litigation matters involving landfills, ports, airports, wastewater collection systems, commercial developments, residential developments, university campuses, government research laboratories, defense contractor sites, manufacturing facilities, agricultural operations, recycling facilities, and current and former dry cleaner sites, among others. Mr. Vandenburg has represented numerous public entities in such matters, including the Regents of the University of California; El Dorado County, California; the City of Inglewood, California; and the City of Santa Rosa, California. Mr. Vandenburg is a frequent speaker on legal topics before various professional organizations, including recent presentations at the 2007 National Conference of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers, the 2007 Annual Landfill Symposium of the Solid Waste Association of North America, and the 2006 Yosemite Environmental Conference. Mr. Vandenburg also serves as an elected member of the Executive Committee of the Environmental Section of the California State Bar.

Dan Stack received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University in May 1997. He is currently Senior Civil Engineer for the City of Overland Park, Kansas where his duties include overseeing capital improvement projects including major residential improvements and arterial widenings. He’s a registered engineer in the State of Kansas, and a Certified Public Manager. Dan is active in both NSPE and APWA serving on chapter committees and APWA’s National Awards Review Committee.
