Thursday, April 19, 2007 Advanced Contract Administration The senior inspector often takes on a proactive role in defining and interpreting project contracts. The last in the series will zone in on the types of contracts – and explanation of the legal implications, methods to document the legal aspects of the job, risk allocation, risk mitigation and claims avoidance and documentation.

Senior Engineer – Construction Group, CT Consultants, Inc., Willoughby, OH
Mr. Clapper has been active in the Construction of Public Works as an engineering consultant for over 30 years. During that time he has been engaged in the field of Construction Project Administration and Inspection. He routinely interprets design drawings, negotiates change orders, and issues field decisions. He has supervised an engineering staff of up to 15 employees focused on providing construction administration and inspection services for governmental agencies.
His project experience includes construction projects with a construction cost ranging from over $100 million to under $100,000. The project types have varied from roadway and bridge projects, underground utilities, water and waste water treatment facilities, and also include several architectural projects. He has served a project manager for clients such as the Ohio Turnpike Commission, the Ohio Department of Transportation, and numerous cities and counties throughout Ohio.
