Description: Storm water flowing over a construction site often picks up a variety of pollutants which can upset the ecological balance of streams and lakes. NPDES Phase II regs cover construction areas of 1-5 acres in size. What steps should you take during the construction planning stage to meet these requirements and minimize pollutant runoff on your project?
This session will cover:

-- How a state works with cities and construction operators to ensure compliance with stormwater requirements
-- How a city implements their stormwater program addressing construction
-- Tools cities and construction operators can use to help ensure compliance
-- A program with citizen involvement in the construction site stormwater program

This program has been approved for .2 CEUs or 2 PDHs. The form to request these credits is included in the handouts for this program.
