Leveraging the Strength of your Employees

Downsizing, cutbacks, voluntary buy-outs, reduction in force.  Doesn’t matter what you call it, the end result is fewer people to complete the normal workload.  That means that everyone needs to step up their level of activity.  For some of your staff members it may also mean learning new skills, accepting new responsibilities, and stepping into roles they may not have been anticipating.  How do you, as a Manager and a Leader, make these changes work – both for the benefit of the employee and for accomplishing your workload?  What strengths do your employees have that can be better utilized?  How can you develop hidden or under-used skills?  The purpose of this call is to give you suggestions and ideas to make your decisions easier and, hopefully, to offer ways that will make the transition from “how we’ve always done it” to “our new way of working” successful.
