Public Works Historical Society - Organization and AdministrationThe Society's headquarters are located in the offices of APWA in Kansas City, and its archives are housed with the Western Historical Manuscripts Collection at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. We are governed by an elected Board of Trustees, which oversees the work of the Society, assures quality products and services, and otherwise provides for the general well-being of the Society.Individuals and organizations interested in participating with one of our programs or special projects are encouraged to review the list of opportunities to participate. The Society's annual meeting, awards luncheon, and educational programs are held in conjunction with the International Public Works Congress & Exposition, sponsored by APWA.
