How it Works:

1. Register: online at http://www.apwa.net/Education/web.asp
   
   

   The $225 (members) or $275 (nonmember) fee covers one phone (audio) and one Internet (visual) connection. The call-in line is a toll free 800 number. Multiple connections at one location will require an additional fee.

   
   
   
2. Set up: Comprehensive instructions will be emailed to you approximately one week before the program. These will have details for connecting to the broadcast and allow you to run a browser test. You will not need to download software. The handouts for the program will also be included in this email.
   
   You will need a speaker phone and a computer with an Internet connection. If you chose to stream the audio, you will need Microsoft Media Player and speakers. If you are hosting a large group you will need an LCD projector connected to a laptop or PC, a room with a screen and a separate phone line connected to a speaker phone. If you chose to stream the audio, make sure you have the proper equipment in the room.
   
   
3. Day of the Program: Go to www.apwa.net. The Web-based training icon will appear in the purple "Education Calendar" box on the APWA home page. This icon will ONLY appear on the day of the program. After clicking on this icon you will enter your information and view the slide presentation. For the audio portion you will dial a toll free number or chose to stream the audio.
